From poverty to hope: this is how we transform lives:
From classroom prevention to empowering young mothers, we act where it is needed most
Our Multidimensional Approach
We understand that poverty is not just a lack of resources, but of options. That is why our strategy is divided into two pillars: anticipate risks and rescue life projects

Prevention + Intervention
We create two programs with which we will generate the positive impact that is needed on the island.
Prevention Program
We implemented a strategic educational program in secondary schools on Rusinga Island for young people aged 12 to 19.
Approach: Early Intervention in Secondary Schools for 12-19 Year Olds
“We don’t wait for the problem to appear; we go to the root. Through group dynamics and real testimonials, we equip teens with tools to protect their body, their mental health and their future. We believe in prevention as the most powerful investment for a healthy community.”
1. Integral Health and Wellness Training
We don’t just report; we educate about sexual and reproductive health so that every young person makes conscious decisions about their body. This approach prevents early pregnancies and gives adolescents their own judgment against the pressures of their environment.
2. Social Risk Prevention Radar
Through 90-minute sessions, we act as a radar to detect situations of abuse, violence or substance use. We work in an articulated manner with families and teachers to channel immediate professional support in cases of vulnerability detected in the classroom.
3. Development of Socio-Emotional Skills
We use group dynamics and real testimonials to strengthen self-esteem and critical thinking. The goal is for young people to build a healthy and sustainable life project, based on self-respect and the ability to say “no” to risky behaviors.
4. Culture of Peace, Respect and Inclusion
We encourage youth leadership based on values of empathy and rights. By addressing issues such as bullying and gender-based violence from a professional perspective, we transform schools into safe environments where respect for diversity prevails.

Ubicación: Isla Rusinga, Kenia
Approximately 500 girls are involved in the project and we have detected a great commitment from them.
We also want to help you participate in special training so that you become mentors/instructors so that you are in charge (under supervision) of new groups.
In this way we strengthen their knowledge and spread the program more quickly.
Mothers Program
This programme is a concrete response to an urgent reality. It seeks to transform lives from the root, offering accompaniment, training and opportunities to those who need it most.
Focus: Empowerment, rescue of life and autonomy projects.
5. Safe Space and Collective Resilience
We provide an emotional refuge free of social judgments. Here, teenage mothers find empathic listening and mutual support (sorority), allowing them to heal past traumas and recognize themselves as women with transformation and change capacity.
6. Independencia Económica y Microemprendimiento
We transform learning into real sustenance. We train young women in technical skills and basic management to lead their own micro-entrepreneurships. This approach seeks to make them owners of their economy and not rely on third parties to survive.
7. Parenting with Dignity and Breakdown of the Cycle of Poverty
We instruct in the comprehensive care of children and the protection of children’s rights. By empowering the mother in her role and in her personal value (honesty, pride and dignity), we cut off the generational sequence of poverty to replace her with one of hope.
8. Acogida Integral y Refugio de Esperanza
PFor those mothers and children in a situation of total abandonment, we offer a home where basic services, nutrition and security are guaranteed. This pillar is our direct response to indifference, ensuring a worthy roof while rebuilding their future.
“We turn vulnerability into strength. Our program not only offers basic assistance, but also promotes autonomy. Through vocational training and psychological support, we help young mothers regain their identity and raise children with dignity, equality and hope.”
Your Help Changes Lives
Don’t wait any longer. Together we can change the fate of many young people.
